Budget/Schedule

The project is split into three phases, preliminary design and proposal writing in fall, construction and design revision in winter, and then testing in spring.

The fall design phases consists of writing the proposal while designing the components of the payload. These designs are created in conjunction with analysis and design requirements for those parts.

In winter, the parts are created and assembled. This in and of itself is a form of testing for how well the parts actually function and fit together in real life.

Lastly in spring, the payload it put through several tests to ensure it functions as intended and passes all the success requirements.

Budget

The budget for fall quarter consists of several small purchased and manufactured parts. a majority of parts are planned to be manufactured on campus to match specific design needs of the payload. on top of that there are minor labor costs for machining several small and simple metal parts.

The project is funded by CWU as a club project. The predicted spending for the payload as a whole is no more than $200 for everything.
